CALVIN COFFEE HOUSE – March 14th
Our guest musicians are Michael Jantzen and Solomon Janzen. Michael carves out his own space between folk and country. With his nuanced baritone and delicate guitar playing, he creates a distinct and inviting brand of roots music infused with personal stories, faith and West Coast imagery. His knack for weaving introspection into poetic narrative and stick-in-your head melodies has a way of getting listeners humming along, musing the meaning of their own journeys.
Michael is joined by Solomon Janzen, one of the Fraser Valley’s best and most versatile guitarists. Whether he's adding grit on slide guitar, the perfect melodic touches to a ballad, or beautifully understated vocal harmonies, Solomon's musical instincts are uncanny. He somehow always creates exactly what each song needs to shine.
Doors open at 7:00pm with an open mic beginning at 7:30pm and our featured guests at around 8:30pm. Admission is FREE and a paid (cash) concession is available. Join us for some good times and great music!
