CALVIN COFFEE HOUSE

The Calvin Coffee House is beginning another season of free monthly concerts featuring a variety of talented musicians from the Fraser Valley. This month's Calvin Coffee House event takes place this Friday, September 12, 2025 featuring singer-songwriter Darryl Klassen. With roots in Saskatchewan Darryl eventually drifted up onto the West coast. He writes songs, plays banjo, guitar, mandolin and sings songs about boats, trains, coffee, (and some women too), old cowboys, and gets into some foot stomping instrumentals. Some songs are originals, others are covers, but few are contained in the common songbooks of popular music.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m., open mic begins at 7:30 p.m. and our featured guest at around 8:30 p.m. If you wish to perform at our open mic, it is helpful for me to know ahead of time. Please feel free to email me to let me know you wish to perform. Admission is free and all are welcome. A paid concession is available (cash only). Please join us at the lobby of Calvin Presbyterian Church (33911 Hazelwood Ave., Abbotsford) for a great evening of live music showcasing talented musicians of the Fraser Valley.
