Don Blaak, Worship Coordinator

Don has been an active member of Calvin Presbyterian Church ever since returning to his hometown of Abbotsford in 1996. He began working in the role of Worship Coordinator in 2010 and enjoys the privilege of working together with the fine people of Calvin Church to the glory of God.

 

He and his wife, Jo, met and married at Calvin Church. Together, they have four adult children living throughout the Fraser Valley. Don loves playing drums and, over the years, has been involved as a drummer/percussionist with a number of musical societies in the Fraser Valley. Currently, he is the drummer for the Moonliters, a local big band. He also enjoys camping and discovering all the beautiful places God has created throughout our amazing province.

Janet Holman, Administrative Assistant

Janet was born in Wallasey, England and immigrated with her parents to Canada when she was seven years old. She met her husband, Tim, in the Trinity Western College choir. She has two children: a married daughter living in Victoria, B.C., and a son living at home who attends UFV.

Janet enjoys scrapbooking and loves to sing. She has been involved in many choirs over the years and enjoys being part of Calvin’s  Christmas Cantata every year. She is thankful to be a part of the Calvin family.
