After a long hiatus, the Calvin Coffee House will resume monthly events on the second Friday evening of each month. Our first event of the year will begin at 7:00 pm on Friday, September 9th and will include a barbecue to kick off the season. These are family friendly events and open to all. MEMORIAL GARDEN: For those on the Memorial Garden committee and those who are interested in its progress, it has been decided to lay a 15-foot diameter cement circle in the centre of the garden area with curved paths leading out opposite sides. The cement has been ordered; it will be at least mid-September until it can be laid. So we have begun and will move ahead as we are able. Thanks for your interest.  – Colleen Kouwenberg –

STARFISH MEAL PROGRAM (FOOD BANK): Last week, Calvin Congregation raised $1011 in response to the urgent appeal from the Abbotsford Food Bank for their summer Starfish Meal Program to help families in need. We made the deadline on Wednesday, and they were so grateful.   THANK YOU
