FUNDRAISER CONCERT FOR YOUSSEF, ROUAA AND DIALA
On Friday, June 9, 2023, the Calvin Coffeehouse is pleased to present an evening concert featuring a variety of musical artists and groups to help raise funds for our newly arrived family from Syria. Our musical artists include:
The Fiddle Chicks (old-time and folk fiddle music)
The Uppatones (female-voice vocal trio)
Amy Stephens & Amir Haghighi (Celtic and Persian style folk music)
Voce Destino (female-voice chamber choir)
Brennan Sinclair (original music in singer-songwriter style)
Joy Vox Community Choir (concert choir choral music)
The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. (doors open at 6:15 p.m). Admission is free and a paid concession is available during intermission. All donations will go to Youssef and his two daughters to help them begin their new lives here in Canada. All are welcome. Please join us for an evening of fabulous music and an opportunity to support Youssef, Rouaa and Diala!
