SENIORS CONNECT are making up Secret Santa gift bags for shut-ins and people in care homes in our community. Your donations for the Secret Santa gift bags would be greatly appreciated by November 28th, 2021. Each gift bag costs approximately $10.00. Donations can be made by adding a Secret Santa amount to your giving envelope or left with any Committee Member. Please let a Committee Member know of any senior in our community that would appreciate a gift bag. EVENING OF SUNG PRAYERS – In Person and Online Event
TONIGHT, Sunday, October 24, 2021, 7:30 – 8:30 pm Hosted By: Cathy AJ Hardy and St. Dunstan’s Anglican Church
You are invited to an hour of Sung Prayer, Poetry, Scripture, and Stillness featuring music from Taize, Iona, and Cathy AJ Hardy. The theme will be “Remember”. This service will be offered in person at St. Dunstan’s Anglican Church, 3025 – 264th Street, Aldergrove, and online through Facebook Live. CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES: Christmas shoeboxes are available now for pick up just before the sanctuary doors. They will be due to be returned during National Collection Week (November 15th – 21st). These boxes are distributed to children in needy areas around the world as determined by Samaritan’s Purse. The available pamphlet gives suggestions for the various ages and guidelines of what not to include. If wish to provide a shoebox and are not able to shop yourself, you may donate $30, and someone in the church’s organizing group will shop for you. Please put your donation in the offering plate and label “Shoebox.” You will receive a tax receipt for your donation.
