YOUTH CONNECT: Spring Chillin’ and Grillin’ Event
Join us for a barbecue/wiener roast dinner and fun activities at the McFees on Sunday, March 27 from 4:30-8:00 pm.  We will carpool, so plan to meet in the church parking lot at 3:30 sharp. Youth can be picked up again between 8:40 and 9:00 pm.
Regular youth gatherings will begin again the following week, with our first gathering being  Monday, April 4 from 6-8 pm.

ELECTION OF NEW ELDERS
Session is now receiving nominations for new elders to serve on Session. We are receiving nominations from March 20th to April 10th. Only Communicant members are eligible for nomination. Thank you.

UPCOMING MEMORIAL SERVICE
The memorial service for Pat Hougen will take place at Calvin on Saturday, April 30th at 2:00pm.

MEN’S FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST: The next fellowship meeting will take place on Saturday, April 2nd at 8:00am at the Roseland Restaurant, 12 – 33550 S. Fraser Way, Abbotsford. The guest speaker will be Jim Happer, and his topic will be,                “Downsizing during the pandemic”. There is still a requirement to show vaccination status.

LISTENING ENHANCEMENT DURING WORSHIP SERVICE: We have recently acquired a listening enhancement system for use in the church sanctuary. If you think you could benefit from the use of this system, there are several headsets available at the sound booth as you enter the sanctuary. Please feel free to ask the sound technician for a headset and for instructions concerning how to use the device.

FLOOD RELIEF: Application form for Flood Relief Fund through Calvin Presbyterian Church is available for those who have been affected by the flood. 

CAMP DOUGLAS: Camp Douglas is holding a FOREST WORK PARTY on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, and needs volunteers for outdoor work. It will take place, Rain or Shine, from 9AM to 5PM. For reservations, email director@campdouglas.ca. Lunch and Coffee Provided! Face masks are required at Camp’s indoors facilities and on the ferry.

ABBOTSFORD FOOD BANK: Please continue to bring in your food bank donations. Ken Gilbank will do the next pick up on Friday, March 25th. Thank you.
