SENIOR CONNECT STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING: Walking, Hiking Group In the recent Seniors Connect survey, fourteen people expressed interest in being part of a walking-hiking group. The Steering Committee had hoped to give those individuals an opportunity to meet each other, so they might begin to develop their plans. Perhaps because the weather has been so inhospitable, no one has attended the proposed meetings, so the Steering Committee is suggesting that further initiative with this interest group be put forward until the spring. Feedback about this recommendation is welcome. Please speak to any committee member: Richard or Phillipa Hay, Jim Happer, Margaret Houtby, Lois Lochead, Margaret Brown.
Secret Santa: Santa has informed us that distribution will be happening in December! Contributions for this event have closed, as has the Workshop.
LIBRARY: Children’s Christmas books are displayed on the A-frame rack in the Gathering Space. Please sign out the books according to the directions in the library itself and borrowed for a 2-week period only, as indicated on the return date calendar on the wall. Books are to be returned in the blue bin in the library. Please take and enjoy!
BOXED ENVELOPES: Boxed envelopes for the new year “2022” will be available soon. Please advise if you are currently not using envelopes or Pre-Authorized Remittance and would like to be included. We have a choice of weekly or monthly boxed envelopes and PAR. For those of you that are using one of these methods of giving and would like to make a change, this would be a convenient time to do so.
