MEMORIAL SERVICE: There will be a memorial service for Peter Rigden at           St. Matthews Anglican Church, 2087 McMillan Road, Abbotsford on Thursday, August 5th, 2021 at 1:00PM   (meeting in Grace Church)

 THE SUNDAY COFFEE HOUR MINISTRY: To all of you who are already serving in the Coffee Ministry, we give you a big Thank-You for your time, energy and devotion. Lois Lochhead is seeking more volunteers to help on Sunday mornings.

If you are currently helping, your name will continue to be on the Coffee Team list UNLESS you contact Lois that you are unable to help out. Please indicate to Lois if there are particular Sundays throughout the year that you are unavailable. The schedule is being made up for August 2021 to August 2022. Thank you, and God Bless.

FLOWER CALENDAR 2021: Please consider signing the Flower Calendar to supply flowers for a Sunday Service. You can bring flowers yourself, or one of the committee members will do this for you for $25.00 (cash). Please put the money in an envelope and give it to a committee member or leave it in the church office. A receipt for this amount will be given, in your name, to the Church Treasurer. CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES FOR SAMARITAN’S PURSE: Although it may seem early to think of Christmas Shoeboxes, this is the time of year to buy some items that fit the shoeboxes. Many of the boxes go to warm climates, and we can buy some items best in the summer. Particularly, these include flip-flops, sun hats, and bandanas. The dollar stores have these. Please purchase to fit children’s sizes for ages 5 to teens. If you want to purchase any quantity of these, you can give them to me to use in the boxes that I fill in the fall using donated funds. CONCERTS AT CALVIN: Summer Concert Live! Featuring Vivaldi Four Seasons with the Cedro String Quartet led by Calvin Dyck. There will be two concerts at Calvin Presbyterian Church on Friday, August 6th at 4PM and 7PM. Tickets can be purchased at eventbrite.ca.
