CHRISTMAS SHOEBOXES FOR SAMARITAN’S PURSE: Although it may seem early to think of Christmas Shoeboxes, this is the time of year to buy some items that fit the shoeboxes. Many of the boxes go to warm climates, and we can buy some items best in the summer. Particularly, these include flip-flops, sun hats, and bandanas. The dollar stores have these. Please purchase to fit children’s sizes for ages 5 to teens. If you want to purchase any quantity of these, you can give them to me to use in the boxes that I fill in the fall using donated funds. Thank you. Margaret Houtby
